These terms apply when you use the Bloom app or this website. By using Bloom you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy and medical disclaimer.

Bloom is not medical care

Bloom gives general information and helps you keep track of your pregnancy and your baby. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat or replace your midwife, doctor or pediatrician. AI answers are automated and can be incomplete or wrong. If you are worried about yourself or your baby, contact a health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Who can use Bloom

You must be at least 16 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, to use Bloom.

Your content

What you write and add to Bloom belongs to you. It is stored on your device, and you are responsible for keeping your own backups. You give us permission to process your content only as needed to provide the features you use, for example to send a question you ask to the AI Companion.

Fair use

Please don't misuse Bloom. That includes trying to break or overload the service, reverse engineering it beyond what the law allows, using automated tools to query the AI features, or using Bloom to create anything unlawful or harmful.

Premium

Bloom is free to download. Some features need a Bloom Premium subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may include a free trial or an introductory offer.

  • Payment is taken by Apple and charged to your Apple Account.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your iPhone's Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
  • If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Companion limits. To keep Bloom sustainable, the AI Companion has a message allowance: a small daily allowance on the free plan and a larger monthly allowance with Premium. The current numbers are shown in the app. We may adjust them with reasonable notice.

Changes to Bloom

We keep improving Bloom, which means features may change or be retired. If we remove a core Premium feature, we'll tell you in advance.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Bloom reliable, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made on the basis of information in Bloom. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Apple

If you downloaded Bloom from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for Bloom or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.

Ending your use

You can stop using Bloom at any time and delete your account in Settings › Delete account. We may suspend access if you seriously break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top and tell you in the app about significant changes. If you keep using Bloom after that, the new terms apply.
